Ghouls

Ghouls are characters that the player can be. Each ghoul has their own appearance and name. There are six different ghouls on each team, though only four from each team are chosen at once.

The 2018 version of the doodle had only four ghouls on each team. Moss, Mauve, Emerald, and Amethyst were added in the 2022 version.

Trivia

• All of the ghouls' names (With the exception of Kelly and Mauve) have been referenced or came from plants or minerals.
• If players had disconnected in a middle of a game, it was originally intended that the ghouls would fall asleep as a decorative feature. However, this caused it to be harder for players to find out if their teammates had left the game or not. Therefore, the sleeping animations were removed from the game (except for Jade and Plum, whose sleeping animations are used in the tutorial) and were replaced with a red disconnected icon over the player when they disconnected.
  • Note that Olive's sleeping animation in the lobby is unrelated to the scrapped sleeping animations.
