Coach Spider is the coach for the Great Ghoul Duel. He reminds ghouls to return to their bases for powerups. When the game ends, he can be seen waving the winning team's flags.

- When the tutorial starts, Coach Spider can be seen climbing down a web and whistling to Jade, who is a ghoul from the Green Team representing the player, waking him up to tell him as the Great Ghoul Duel is about to start.
- Coach Spider can only be seen in the playable area during the tutorial.
- He is known as just "Spider" in the source files.
- When it was first designed, The Great Ghoul Duel was intended as a sequel of another Halloween Google Doodle, Magic Cat Academy, with Momo as the main character and protagonist, replacing Coach Spider. However, it was changed to make the Great Ghoul Duel an original game, which thus needed Momo to be changed to Coach Spider.
