Achievements

The achievements menu.

In the 2022 version of the Great Ghoul Duel, achievements are goals that the player can complete during matches, with a total of 16 (plus 1 unused). Each achievement also has a corresponding hat that the player can choose to wear once they've unlocked the achievement. The player's progress on achievements is preserved between matches and browser sessions, and some achievements will take multiple matches to complete.

A Normal Unicorn	Collect 150 spirit flames in one game.
Witch's Brim	Collect 200 spirit flames in one game.
Royal Crown	Collect the most spirit flames 5 games in a row.

Trivia

• Players must exceed the given number of times of an action before they will get the achievement. For example, getting the “Fun and Fancy” hat actually requires winning 6 games instead of 5. This might be intentional or a numbering error in the game.

The viking hat.

• In the source files, there seems to be an unused hat and therefore an achievement that looks like a viking hat. However, it only exists in its locked state.
